Our story

Golden Thread Internal School (金線內家館) was founded with a passion for sharing the profound benefits of internal martial arts. Inspired by a deep respect for traditional teachings and a desire to make them accessible to all, we established a school rooted in core values of integrity, discipline, and personal growth. Our mission is to provide a supportive environment where students can cultivate physical and mental well-being through the practice of Tai Chi, Bagua Zhang, and Qi Gong.

The Golden Thread Internal School preserves and transmits the authentic internal martial arts teachings passed down through Shifu W.C. Bey, a direct lineage holder in Yang Family Taijiquan, Yin Fu & Ma Gui Baguazhang, Xingyi Quan, and internal Daoist cultivation methods.

Our training follows the principle of “from root to refinement.”
Students begin with structure and body alignment, then progress into internal mechanics — breath, intent (意 yi), spiral force (纏絲 chán sī), and whole-body power.

We are not a commercial fitness studio.
We are a private internal school focused on:

  • Traditional lineage transmission

  • Internal power development (劲 jin)

  • Meditative stillness and martial application
